Memandangkan yang keselesaan penduduk kampung tergugat dengan peningkatan kes-kes pecah rumah dan kecurian kenderaan (terutama motosikal), pihak JKKK telah membuat keputusan meminta nasihat pihak Polis (IPD Gombak) bagi mengatasi masalah ini. Dalam beberapa siri perjumpaan dan lawatan ke kampung ini, bermula dengan lawatan Ketua Polis Daerah Gombak, ACP Rahim Abdullah dalam bulan Disember 2010, dan disusuli oleh Ketua Balai Polis Selayang, Cif Inspektor Nordin Misban dan pasukannya dalam bulan April 2011 dan pelancaran Skim Rondaan Sukarela (SRS) oleh Timbalan Ketua Polis Daerah Gombak dalam bulan Mei 2011. SRS sudah bergerak lancar sejak pelancarannya tetapi penglibatan lebih ramai penduduk amat dialukan untuk menambah keberkesanan rondaan.

Due to the disturbances experienced by residents from increasing cases of burglary and vehicle theft (especially motorcycles) the JKKK has decided to seek advice from the Police (IPD Gombak) to overcome this problem. As series of meetings were arranged, beginning with a visit by the Gombak District Police Chief, ACP Rahim Abdullah in December 2010,followed by Selayang Police Station Chief, Chief Inspector Nordin Misban and his team in April 2011 and launch of the Voluntary Patrol Scheme (SRS) in May 2011 by the Deputy District Police Chief. The patrols have begun since then but a higher level of participation by the residents is needed to improve its effectiveness.
